Car Market had no dedicated home screen—users landed straight in a listings feed, while services were easy to miss. I designed a new home that brought car search, quick actions, and key services together, with carefully planned ad placements integrated into the layout.

I also introduced a navigation model and aligned it with the design-system team and other verticals, establishing a shared pattern for future apps across the QIC ecosystem.

Buyers need more than photos and a price, so I worked with the product manager to make listings more informative. Market value helps buyers assess whether the price is fair, while estimated ownership costs show what to expect after purchase.

The dealer page lets them explore more cars and learn about the business behind the listings.

The Garage is a key area of the QIC car ecosystem for managing cars you already own. It brings vehicle details, documents, car insurance, and related services together in one place.

Car Market components and patterns—including navigation and quick-action icons—became part of QIC’s shared design system for reuse across its verticals.

With two languages and four platforms, maintaining separate typefaces added unnecessary complexity. I introduced a shared typeface that supported both languages across all platforms, simplifying design and development and giving the ecosystem’s apps a more distinctive, cohesive identity.
